You do not need everything below to start, but the more we have, the sooner we can put real numbers in front of you:
- Vehicle list: year, make, model and VIN for each truck, van, pickup or car, plus the gross vehicle weight rating for anything larger than a pickup.
- Garaging addresses: where each vehicle is kept overnight. Your garaging ZIP code is one of the biggest rating factors in Tampa Bay.
- Drivers: names and years of driving experience for everyone who drives for the business. We will collect license details through a secure channel, not the website form.
- How the vehicles are used: your trade, typical radius, whether you haul equipment or trailers, and whether any truck crosses state lines.
- Current policy: your declarations page, renewal date and, for fleets, three to five years of loss runs from your current carrier.
- Filings and certificates: your USDOT number if you have one, and the names of general contractors, property managers or HOAs that need certificates of insurance.
